Now in it’s third year, the Edible Garden Trail is spreading the word about health and environmental benefits of organic gardening and to inspire the local community to get out and get growing! This is a popular weekend event with an emphasis on encouraging School Kitchen Gardens to inspire the next generation of edible gardeners and home cooks.

The sponsorship by our Bendigo Community Bank is used to engage Environmental Educator, Beth Healey (aka ‘Dirtmum’!) to run information sessions and resources for schools and teachers and work with local schools to help them implement kitchen garden schemes. Beth has trained with Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. Beth also works as a garden co-ordinator at Blaxland East Public School and Faulconbridge Public School.
